Certificate of Advanced Study ETH in Regenerative Materials – registration now open
The Certificate of Advanced Study ETH in Regenerative Materials is one of the only programmes entirely dedicated to earth and bio–based construction techniques.
The CAS programme teaches how to use local and low–carbon materials to offer a socially, ecologically and economically responsible architecture with an adapted territory approach. It deals with the planning and operation of architectural projects using regenerative materials. It provides students tools and methods to manage projects using earth, bio–based and reused materials with efficiency and creativity.
Decision makers and practitioners of the construction sector from Switzerland and abroad (project managers, members of city technical services, building contractors, NGOs, architects, engineers). Qualified applicants interested in developing an experience to conduct projects using regenerative materials.
Participants will develop competence to conduct complex projects using earth, bio–based and reused materials with realistic and affordable solutions in order to participate to the necessary ecological and social transition in the construction sector. The CAS programme highlights exemplary architectural projects developing circular economy and the use of low carbon materials. It permits to learn through real case–study (new construction, energy retrofit).
The programme enables Swiss and foreign graduates to work as project managers in city technical services, property developer and NGOs, with specific knowledge and skills on regenerative materials.
